REGISTER WITH THE PRACTICE?
When you hand in your registration documents to the receptionist, although you will be registered with the practice, you will be asked for your preferred GP. The practice cannot guarantee an appointment with this doctor on every occasion but we will do our best to accommodate your request. When you first register with the practice you will be asked to attend for a new patient check with the health care assistant. It is most important that you attend as this will give us some valuable information about your health prior to your notes arriving.
IF YOU TAKE REGULAR MEDICATION THEN YOU MUST SEE THE DOCTOR AS WELL TO ARRANGE A PRESCRIPTION.
Temporary Patients
You are entitled to see a doctor anywhere in the UK if you are away from home. You can do this by asking to see the nearest doctor as a temporary resident. If friends or relatives who are staying with you need a doctor, we will be happy to see them as temporary residents providing we have appointments available.
